Mike recently joined Rockspring as the Manager of Broker Operations over the San Antonio team. He is an accomplished Executive with over 42 years’ of business experience through a diversified career in Real Estate, Shipping/ Logistics, and Oil and Gas.

Early in his Real Estate career, Mike was a top producer for the largest locally owned Commercial Real Estate firm -Grieshaber & Roberts. He was one of two of the 22 AssociateBroker members to become a partner. He has been an investor, owner, or broker in many ventures, including land, office, retail, apartments, and hotel projects. His Tx Real Estate license has remained active for over 40 years.

Mike graduated from the University of Kentucky, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA Degree) while on a football scholarship. As a three-year starter, he was voted captain by his peers and named MVP, gaining All-Southeastern Conference QB honors and setting rushing records that lasted 45 years. He played briefly in the NFL and the Canadian football league.

He graduated from Northern Illinois College of Law, earning a JD Degree.

Mike’s extensive background includes ownership in a shipping/logistics company with expansion into Mexico during (NAFTA). His two largest national and international clients were AT&T and US Long Distance, now Quest Communications.

Mike also served as VP of Sales for two oil drilling companies involved in horizontal drilling technology. He was a top producer while raising investor partnership capital for seven drilling exploration projects in the Eagle Ford Shale region.
