Jim McAlister IV is the Founder/CEO of Rockspring, overseeing the growth and expansion of Rockspring’s brand in Texas. Jim has been featured as an expert on Texas land in several local and national top-tier publications and regularly discusses Texas land at premier real estate and investment forums and conferences in the U.S. and internationally. With his unique expertise and knowledge, Jim provides investors with valuable insight in a $1.3 trillion economy. Jim’s ability of building trusted, interpersonal relationships with investors enables Rockspring to tailor real estate investment opportunities to fit individual needs.

Prior to founding Rockspring in 1993, Jim worked for CBRE as a Commercial Real Estate Broker in Houston. Jim earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin in 1986.

Jim enjoys traveling, supporting local and international artists, and taking neighborhood walks with his partner and two dogs.
